Last Friday, lewd content involving a (MSU) Ugandan lecturer and a law student went viral on social media.
The videos and pictures showed kironde philip, the Chairperson of the Department of Procedural Law, and student Ashley Bella getting intimate and caressing each other.

The content confirmed that the two were romantically involved, and one of the pictures showed the student twerking naked in a WhatsApp video call with the lecturer.
The incident happened during the student’s vacation period, according to MSU’s marketing and communications director, Okello John.

Kironde has since resigned, and the university says they have a clear sexual harassment policy that sets parameters. Severe steps will be taken if there is evidence of sexual harassment.
